Welcome to Alabama Dachshunds. We are located in Moody, Alabama, just East of Birmingham. I raise my dachshunds with the help of my family. I have been married for 14 years to the greatest guy in the world, he is my bestfriend, my rock and the love of my life. Together we are mom and dad to three kids, nine dachshunds, and one cat! There's never a dull moment at the Doss house! I deliver and raise my puppies in my home, not in cages. They are my family, not just pets. I love them dearly. A lot of love, devotion, and time is given to each one of my southern born, southern bred baby dachshunds.
My puppies are showered with love and get special attention from the day they are born. My kids make sure they are kid tested, and of course mother approves! Your new puppy will come home to you pre-spoiled and very well socialized. I prefer to sell on limited AKC reg., but will sell on full to a responsible breeder whom has proper references. I will check them out personally of course.
Under no circumstances will I sell to puppy mills, brokers or pet shops. I make sure to screen everyone who wants to adopt a puppy from Alabama Dachshunds. I do have the right to refuse sale, just on my "gut instinct."
